- Homeless Oxfordshire, Housing Today Hope for Tomorrow
- Netwalking is a great way of reaching new people, getting out into nature and viewing things from a different, much fresher perspective.
- At Homeless Oxfordshire we strive to be effective, appropriately challenge perceptions and systems, inspire clients, our partners and each other. We are responsive to need and compassionate to fellow human beings. Above all we are brave and will not give up on people society has left behind. Through our 11 innovative housing projects we accommodate 200 people every night 365 days a year.
- Supporters are always welcome for an informal coffee and chat at our Hostel O’Hanlon House if they wish to learn more about our services, corporate partnerships, volunteering or how to get involved in fundraising.
Our Natural Netwalkers…
I used dread going to networking events because I found starting up conversations difficult. However, because I feel comfortable walking, I automatically found it much more comfortable talking to people that were walking with me. Net-walking is a much more relaxed way making new contacts.
I went to my first Net-walk and was surprised at how easy it was to talk to people and about my business. I liked the way the guides created an opportunity to change partners – it all seemed very natural. We all seemed to find out so much about each other, real things, things you remember.
Net walking made me get out from behind the four walls of my office and get out in the fresh air. I feel so much better for it. As well as, meeting and making some great contacts, it has promoted a simple change in lifestyle, I walk more now!
